
What Is AYCIC Chapter #6 "ASEAN Literacy Summit" ?
The ASEAN Literacy Summit is the 6th edition of the ASEAN Youth Culture Initiative Connect (AYCIC), organized by Youth for Education. Held in Manila, Philippines from November 5–8, 2025, the summit gathers youth leaders, academics, NGOs, literacy experts, and practitioners under the theme “Celebrating Diversity, Advancing Literacy.” It aims to promote collaboration across ASEAN, empower communities through literacy, and celebrate cultural diversity as a strength for inclusive developmen

What Will the Programme Look Like?
The ASEAN Literacy Summit will unfold as a four-day program that blends knowledge-sharing, capacity building, and cultural immersion. Delegates will participate in international conferences, expert panels, and symposiums, while also engaging in volunteer projects, heritage walks, and cultural nights. This unique design ensures that the summit is not only a space for intellectual exchange, but also for collaboration, cultural appreciation, and real community impact.
Presenters are participants who contribute to the academic and professional discourse by submitting and presenting papers, research, or community projects related to the summit’s themes. They can choose oral or poster presentations, showcasing methodologies, findings, and innovations in literacy and education. This role offers a platform to share expertise, engage in dialogue, and shape regional literacy initiatives.
How to Register as Presenter:
Prepare an abstract (200–300 words) in English, clearly stating purpose, methodology, findings, and relevance to the theme.

Delegates only are participants who attend the summit to learn, network, and engage without delivering a formal presentation. They join panel discussions, workshops, cultural exchange programs, and volunteering activities, gaining valuable perspectives while building cross-border networks. This role is ideal for those seeking exposure, collaboration, and capacity building.
